Tucking, Taping and the Gaff

There are two main techniques of temporally obtaining a smooth feminine shape in the genital area. You don't want to have an ugly budge where you want a smooth feminine line. The easiest technique to achieve a beautiful line is to use a garment called a Gaff. However, some people prefer to use tape to hold everything out of the way. But then again, where do you put it? You tuck it out of the way of course.

How to Tuck:

When you where born as a boy everything is up inside the abdomen. Now years later, the cavity is still there and you can tuck yourself back up inside this cavity. Sometimes the opening to the cavity is small and a doctor is required to help drop the tissue down in a young boy. Mostly the opening to the cavity is large enough to move the tissue up into the cavity without any problem. Then once in place, it must be held in place or the tissue just falls back into the lower position. This is where Taping and the Gaff comes in.

The Gaff:

A Gaff is a special type of foundation garment. They come in various sizes, colors and shapes. It is used to apply pressure to the genital area. When worn after Tucking it provides a smooth feminine shape. It does take a little time to get use to the feeling of having things moved around and held in a new place. It does not take long to get used to the new location. There is no pain and very little discomfort. If it hurts, stop. It should not hurt. Please be gentle, take your time, and find the cavity. The point is to put the tissue back into the cavity where they where formed in the first place.

Taping:

Sometime people want a smoother shape than can be obtained by using a Gaff alone. These people can use tape to hold everything is place. There are many good types of tape. We prefer 3M NexcareTM Transpore tape. It is also important to shave the area. As with wearing a Gaff, the first step is to Tuck. Then you use the skin of the Scrotum to form two flaps. This does take a little practice.

1. Set out four pieces of tape three inches long.

2. Tuck everything up into the cavity.

3. Form two flaps with the Scrotum and fold them toward the center until they snuggly meet at the center.

4. Use the tape set out to tape the two flaps together.

5. Continue taping the area until a smooth line is achieved.

You can use more than one technique:

Some people use more than one technique at a time. For those of you with a lot to deal with, try using two different kinds of Gaffs at the same time. Some also Tape and wear a Gaff at the same time. For example, you can get extra holding power by layering a S130 Gaff under a R900 Gaff, or by Taping and wearing a R900 Gaff at the same time.

External Catheter:

When you Tape there is still the need to relieve your bladder from time to time. It is inconvenient to pull off all the tape and then Tape up again. The solution is to uses an External Catheter. This is a device use by those that are incontinent to capture the urine without inserting a catheter. The External Catheter is like a condom that has an adhesive applied inside and a tube connected at the end. It is rolled on and the adhesive keeps it in place. The adhesive should not be allowed to reach the mucus membrane.

The device is sized by the diameter of the shaft. It is best not to undersize the device because it is important not to allow the adhesive to contact the mucus membrane. If the device is too big, there will be leaks and we don't want that.

The External Catheter is shipped with a shipping form as shown on the left. The device is removed from the shipping form as shown on the right and unrolled into place.

Be sure to insert all the sensitive tissue into the device beyond the adhesive. It is also advisable to remove any hair that may come in contact with the adhesive. It is a lot less effort to remove the hair before hand, than after it has been captured by the adhesive.

If there is any pain, discontinue use. It should not hurt.
