There
is a lot of confusion concerning the height of a heel. Some shoe manufactures
identify the height of the heel from the top of the heel to the tip of
the heel, shown in the picture above as dimensions "A". Others
measure the heel height from the top of the instep to the tip of the heel, shown
in the picture above as dimensions "B". We
will identify the height of the heel as the height from the top of the instep to the
tip of the heel, shown
in the picture above as dimensions "B". Wearing
high heel takes strong calf muscles. To increase the strength of your
calf muscles start off by wearing our new high heels for a short time.
You can also exercise your calf muscles by placing the ball of your feet
on a bathroom scale with your heel on the floor. Lift yourself up onto
the balls of your feet. Don't over do this. No pain is the best way to
gain. And as with any new exercise program, it is best to ask your
doctor first. |
