Mascara Application and Removal

Mascara is easy to apply once you know how to apply it. It is used to amplify the look of your lashes.

It is hard to remove, read on...

To apply Mascara:

1. Draw the wand out of the tube.

2. The applicator will most likely have too much Mascara on it to start with. Rub the brush on the opening of the tube to remove the excess Mascara.

3. Place the brush on the base of the top lashes with the wand horizontal. Apply the Mascara with a slight twist of the wand.

4. Once there is Mascara over all the top lashes, use the brush to separate the lashes.

5. Apply Mascara to the bottom lashes with the wand vertical. Just like the top, apply first then separate.

To remove Mascara:

1. Remove your Mascara before you go to Bed. It is much easier to remove Mascara the night before than the morning after.

2. Wash your face with a good facial cleaner made to remove makeup. We recommend LB10 Liquid Clarifying Cleanser. It can be found on the Skin Care pages.

3. Then wet a Q-Tip with a good Eye Makeup Remover. With the Q-Tip at a 45 degree angle, scrub the eye lashes. Now be very careful not to poke yourself in the eye. We recommend LB16 Eye Makeup Remover. It can be found on the second Skin Care page.

4. Repeat step three (3) until the Q-Tip is clean after you clean your lashes. Now be careful to scrub the eye lashes and not the upper lid.
