So how to do you figure out your Color Season? You can pay a color consultant a lot of money or trust some young girl at the local department store. Or you can read a bunch of books and search the web. Way too much effort and not very effective. We did all that and have learned how to take the guess work out of determining your Color Season. We have selected four very special colors of lipstick. One of these four colors will look best on you. That color is the tell. It will tell you conclusively your Color Season. The Season Color concept came onto the seen in 1987 and revolutionized how woman selected makeup colors. Carol Jackson wrote THE book on selecting makeup colors. Her book is titled: Color Me Beautiful MakeUp Book is now out of print, but we have a copy. In her book she identified four color groups; Autumn, Spring, Summer, and Winter. All of us can identify with one of these color groups. The Winter and Summer color groups are the cool colors. The contain the blue reds and color with more red and less yellow. The Spring and Autumn color groups are the warm colors and contain the orange reds. These warm shades contain less red and more yellow. With this kit you can find your Color! Purchase the kit, try on the lipsticks and look at yourself in the mirror. Just select the lipstick that looks best on you. It is as easy as that and you can do it without a department store cosmetic sales girl. Selecting your Color Season is an important decision. It may take more than one pass between the colors to get it right. And to confirm, check the color versus the color of the inside of your lower lip. Just gently pull it out and bit with the lipstick on and confirm the color does not clash.
